19th c. pine farmhouse table, 1800s – A rare vintage treasure

Discover timeless elegance: A good size Cornish farmhouse table, dating to the early part of the 19th century. The table has good proportions and is very solid, standing on tapering Baltic pine legs. Many layers of paint have been scraped off, to reveal the lovely natural golden colour of the top boards, and the original toffee-black colour paintwork of the base and drawers. There are some gnarly areas to the table, and some repairs, but this piece of rustic furniture just oozes character because of that. The old worm holes, although historic, have been fully treated as a precaution. Drawers run smoothly. Chair height (beneath drawer area) is 59cm.
