The side panels have been separately chosen to represent different aspects of the beautiful design. The inside of the drawers have been painted a vibrant green, with contrasting white edging and dovetail joints. The legs, top and underside gilded with gold metal leaf, then aged distressed before sealing. The inside drawers have been painted and sealed, the areas with wallpaper have been treated with a stain blocker before the wallpaper was applied. The paper was subsequently given multiple layers of wipe clean decorators varnish
